Here are a few of my faves from the family portrait session I did the other day....

Aisha & Montee's Engagement Session

I photographed Aisha & Montee on Saturday at Jetton Park. It was another great day for pics. Since it was so warm and we were at Lake Norman, we had to get in the water!! I got some cute shots of them playing in the water! I'm sure Montee didn't realize we were going to be doing that type of stuff, but I think he still enjoyed it!! They are getting married next September, so he has a while before he has to do anymore crazy things for pictures!

Erin & Jason's "Engagement" Session.. November 24, 2006

I photographed Erin & Jason's "engagement" session in Salisbury. They are actually already married, but they are renewing their vows in April at Childress Vineyards. We had an awesome time doing the shoot. We got really lucky because they actually live in NYC, so this was the only weekend they could do it. We did most of the photos in Hurley Park and then also a few in the downtown area. I am definitely going to do more shoots there!!

Brandi & Brooke's Photo Session.. Sat. Nov. 18, 2006

I had the pleasure of photographing Brandi & Brooke today. These girls are both very photogenic & gorgeous!! They are doing this session for their parents for Christmas!! Isn't that sweet! They said that their mom wanted a new pic of them! I think their Mom is going to be very pleased when she sees these! I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret though and would have to share these awesome pics!

Graduation Announcements

My friend, Kennie, is finally graduating!! He is graduating in December and needed some announcements to mail to family & friends. These are 5x7 greeting cards that I custom designed. I think this is an awesome way to do greeting cards and announcement these days that include a more personal touch.

Meagan & Josh's Engagement Session... November 12, 2006

I had a great time shooting Meagan & Josh on Sunday. We went to the beach, got a little wet and got some awesome shots! I would love to do more shoots at the beach! It is so fun! Although it might have been more fun if it was warm! It wasn't too cold--about 60, but the water definitely was! I am looking forward to their wedding in December because they aren't afraid to try crazy things!!

Dove Campaign for Real Beauty

Watch this 60 second clip on how "real" beauty today is made! They did a ton of photoshop work that is amazing and kind of scary! Let me know what you think of it!

Carrie & Tom's Wedding November 4, 2006

My mom and I had a BLAST shooting Carrie & Tom's wedding last week. Carrie got married at Roof with a View in uptown Charlotte. She had everything planned out perfectly. The ceremony wasn't until 7 p.m., so we took all the pictures beforehand. She even rented a trolley so we were able to go to a bunch of locations and have a variety of images. We also went to Mimosa Grill before the ceremony. Tom is a chef there!! We had an AWESOME dinner! Carrie is a very lucky girl! I wish my boyfriend knew how to cook! Mine likes to pretend he can cook (I hope he isn't reading this ;-) )....do not let me get started on how he cooks scrambled eggs!

Anna & Isabelle portrait session... November 5...

I photographed Anna & Isabelle on Sunday. Anna is 18 months and liked to go, go, go! She was also full of smiles! It was easy working with her!! The session was mainly for Anna, but we did a few pics of both of the girls!

Tiffany's Bridal Session

I photographed Tiffany on Friday. She looked absolutely stunning! I loved her dress. The beading and long sash were gorgeous! We did some pictures indoors and outdoors. She was a real trooper because it was really cold out there!!! Her mom noticed that her hands were turning blue!!! I think she might have been freezing!! We got some gorgeous shots with the fall colors though, so I think it was worth it!
