Kellie & Stevie's Engagement Session... August 27

I photographed Kellie & Stevie's engagement session on Sunday. Stevie wasn't too happy about having to wear a pink shirt, so I decided I wouldn't torture him anymore by posting him on the blog wearing it! They were a great couple to work with and I had a lot of fun shooting them. I can't wait for their wedding next June!

August 26 Maternity Session

I photographed Letitia's maternity session on Saturday and it was great! She is doing my baby plan where she gets the baby album. You get 5 sessions and then an album with pictures from each session. It is an awesome way to see the changes and how the baby grows over a year. The first session is of course the maternity. Here are a few pictures from the session.

Finally getting around to posting more Chicago Pics

I've been super busy this week trying to get caught up on all my work! I finally had a few minutes to post more pictures from my trip to Chicago!

Here are a couple pictures that Grace (another photographer) took of me. By the way, I felt extremely dorky having my picture made. I'm always used to being behind the camera! During this 5 minute session, I was really giggly and embarrassed. I loved the outcome though! Thanks Grace!

Here is a picture of Grace & me...

And this is Grace and Dawn & Bob Davis of La Storia Foto in Chicago. Bob took the picture above of Grace & me. He is an awesome photographer! He even got to photograph Oprah's Legend Ball!!

As you can tell, I was obsessed with this "bean" thing!

I LOVED it and thought it was super cool! The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is made of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect the city's famous skyline and the clouds above. A 12-foot-high arch provides a "gate" to the concave chamber beneath the sculpture, inviting visitors to touch its mirror-like surface and see their image reflected back from a variety of perspectives.
As you can tell, I was doing a lot of that! LOL (Again, Grace took this pic)

This is Grace!

You can get more info on Cloud Gate (the official name here).

Here was another really cool thing that I noticed. I said to Grace, "Wow, look at that! The lights spell out run!" I thought that happened by chance. Grace cleared me up on that! I was having a blond moment! She figured that they made it that way! LOL I wonder what it means!

I loved these brick faces!! The kid in this pic looks like she is flexing her muscles!

Caitlin & Chad at Hilton Head

I loved all of the different locations Hilton Head had to offer. My sister had me take some pics of her & her bf while we down there shooting that wedding. I loved the tree that was bent. I wished I had one here!

Kristin & Laurence's Wedding...Aug 12

I've finally had a chance to post some images from Kristin & Laurence's Wedding last Saturday. They had a gorgeous wedding and I had a lot of fun shooting it.
Here are a few images from the wedding.

I chose this picture for Laurence, because I know he loves all the sentimental-looking pics. I guess he doesn't feel like he goes into those poses naturally, but just look at this image! Totally candid! I love it!

I love her flowers!

She had cute little gifts/favors at the reception.

I love her cake and her topper! So modern!

The bridal party!
