Vacation Time -- Australia & Tahiti!!!

I'm going on vacation in January from the 8th to around the 21st. I'm going to Australia & Tahiti! I haven't really taken any time off this year, so I can't wait to do this. I'm going to LA for a couple of days before the flight to Sydney. If anyone has any recommendations on what I should do in Australia or Tahiti, let me know!

Senior Session July 21

I shot Cory's senior portraits yesterday. He was a blast to work with... very easy for a guy! He didn't seem like he was tortured during the 2 1/2 hour shoot!!

GPS Navigation!

I finally took the plunge and bought a portable GPS navigation system. It is the Garmin nuvi 350. It is so cool & cute! I can take it with me anywhere. It will fit in pockets or my purse! I really don't need it for driving around here, but since I do a lot of weddings in different cities, it is going to be a big help. No more mapquesting!! Although, I'm sure I will still be paranoid and print out mapquest directions! The UPS man just delivered it today! Here it is...(isn't it cute & tiny!?)

Engagement Guest Signature Album

The sample guest signature album arrived the other day. Here are a few pictures of it. I think these are so cute. They are a great way to showcase the engagement pictures. This is something you can actually use after the wedding. The other guest register book always gets put up somewhere, never to be seen again. This you can keep out and enjoy over time.

New Bridge

This weekend my Dad and his good friend, Gary, started building me a bridge to go over the creek. I'm going to use this as another shooting area. Here are a few pictures of it. It still needs some rails and steps though. I can't wait for it to be finished.



There are going to be a lot more shooting areas coming as well!
I really need a landscape person...if you know of anyone, please let me know!!

Julie & Jonathan's Engagement Session July 15

I shot Julie & Jonathan's engagement session on Saturday. It was a very hot session...temperature wise! It was like 96 degrees outside. I had sweat pouring off of me! They did a great job though! They are an awesome couple! You can see how much they love each other! I'm looking forward to their wedding at the end of September. Here are a some pictures from their session...

Kristin's Bridal Session-- July 14, 2006

I shot Kristin's bridal session today. I'm doing her wedding next month. We had such a great time. She flew from Atlanta this weekend to do the shoot, so we definitely couldn't reschedule if it rained! Thankfully, it was a GORGEOUS day...even if it was a tad on the hot side.
She looks so pretty! I can't wait to shoot her wedding. Here are a couple for now!

Late night postings

I just wanted to let everyone know that I normally do my blog postings late at night. I make lots of make grammatical errors at night. If you happen to catch these you can let me know. My mom loves to correct me and I do get tired of hearing her laugh at me...By the way, she is a TEACHER! She can't help to correct all of my mistakes...only she likes to make fun of it as well!

July 8th Wedding...Jen & Will

I shot Jennifer & Will's wedding on Saturday! I have to thank my mom for second shooting with me. She did an awesome job!

The wedding was a blast and a lot of fun to shoot! Jennifer is one of the most down-to-earth people I know! She is so sweet & awesome and she trusts me to do almost anything I want with pictures. Will is a great guy too...very laid back and cool. He was super nervous right before he saw her! I thought that was really sweet! Most guys don't seem that nervous, so it was a great change!

I took Madalyn's 2-year-old birthday pictures yesterday. She is such a cutie! She had been asleep when she got here, but then after eating cake, she was bouncing off the walls!
